I grew up in Lexington, KY where I graduated from the University of Kentucky with a B.A. in both Art Education and Art Studio. I teach High School Art grades 9-12 at Lafayette High School (since 2017). While developing as a professional educator is my career choice and passion, continuing a pursuit in developing personal work will always remain integral to my identity.
I specialize in creating realistic drawings, but enjoy working in all media. While teaching full time, I find myself developing concepts and pushing my skills in rendering.
I most enjoy playing with layering, textures, and balancing observations with skill application. Throughout my life I plan to continuously develop my art practice and grow as an artist.
